John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another."
The genuine smile, the desire to make others feel comfortable (without being creepy), the willingess to go the extra mile to show someone where a room is located rather than just point. . . the first one to offer a cup of coffee or grab an umbrella for another when it's raining . . . hurrying to the door to swing it open as a person, known or unknown to you, approaches - if any of these scenarios sound like you, the Eastside Welcome Team may just be the ministry team for you!
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. You want the first impression to be a good one, but more importantly you want the first impression to be a genuinely sincere one. Eastside truly is a family that is a friendly, welcoming church that has an outward focus to make regulars and visitors alike feel like they are "home"
