Eastside Youth Retreat 2026

TRULY FREE: Foundational Truths for Lasting Freedom

Dear Eastside Parents,
We know our students face immense pressure today—from social media comparisons to academic stress and the constant push for self-reliance. It is often overwhelming, leaving them feeling anxious, inadequate, or trapped by habits.

This year, the Eastside Youth Retreat is dedicated to equipping your student with the Gospel foundation they need to navigate these challenges. We will be using the DNOW curriculum, "Truly Free," which clearly and practically teaches students that genuine rest and lasting value are found only in Jesus Christ.

Our goal is not just a fun weekend, but a time of intentional spiritual growth, equipping them to know the truth that truly sets them free (John 8:32).

The "Truly Free" study moves beyond surface-level issues to the core Gospel message, ensuring students understand their identity and worth in Christ.

The Promises We'll Explore:

When they feel...

  • Trapped by sin
  • Overwhelmed by Stress
  • Like They Don't Measure Up
  • That Life is Meaningless

The Gospel says...

  • "You are a slave no longer."
  • "There is rest in Jesus."
  • "You have immense value to God."
  • "Your life is meant for more than this."

The Gospel says...

  • Freedom from Sin
  • Freedom from Exhaustion
  • Freedom from Performance
  • Freedom for Purpose
